I needed to change the oil in the fryer, so I separated the fryer "bowl" from the rest of the unit, carefully disposed of the old oil, and rinsed it out with hot water, taking care not to let any of the outside of the bowl (the heating coil element thing) touch water. After refilling with clean oil and reinserting the bowl back into the base unit, I turned it on. The lights indicated after a time that the oil was "hot" and ready to go, but the whole thing was stone-cold. What's the problem? I checked and re-checked for water touching anything, which could've caused a short, I guess, but everything seems normal.... Foro: diplofix.com - De: nancy - Fecha: 2008-09-29 02:03:30
